Actually, that's urban legend. The vast majority of major lottery winners hire financial planners (not that money "experts" are all that competent) and remain wealthy for life. Nobody knows how dumbass they used to be once they get their teeth fixed, move out of the trailer, move into a nice neighbrohood, learn to golf, and wear expensive clothes. You can fake it pretty effectively given adequate budget.
