Well gang, Eluk has not been around recently and with good reason. Here are a few things going on in my life:
I just got accepted into the school of marketing at ASU. This is a top 20 marketing program among public universities so this is a big accomplishment.
I am in the process of becoming a licensed auto dealer. Unfortunately I have to start out with my wholesale license (dealer to dealer). Once I hold the bond successfully for a few years I can make the jump to retail (auction to public) which is more profitable.
I am buying a house on Wednesday. I'll either be buying a 1300sf home built in 1996 or a 900sf attached town home that was built in 1983 but remodeled in 2004.
Anyway, after taking a HUGE flaming from the folks at bimmerforums for my real estate investing website (sellitfastaz.com) I decided to seek out advice before I started building Lukasmotors.com
Lukasmotors will serve 4 main purposes:
1. It will be the base for my auto dealing business.
2. It will be the base for my aftermarket parts business
3. It will include all the popular DIY, repair, advice, and modification articles
4. It will try to attract sponsors for my next project. There is a possibility I will be buying a e90 M3 when it comes out and I want to be the first one to modify the hell out of it. I know two local members with e46's that get all their modifications paid for by sponsors because of the exposure my friends give the sponsors and I want to be the first on the block with a tricked out e90. I've always wanted a 3 with a V8 and now BMW seems to be building one from the factory.
I need Lukasmotors to be front page editable, user friendly, and modern. I'm looking for advice or examples of websites you think I should imitate. It will have a side MENU with the following options:
PROJECT CARS
-E30M50
-E90 M3
CAR RELATED ARTICLES
-E30 modification articles
-E30 Maintenance
-Buying an E30
-E30 performance guide
PRODUCTS
-Heatshields
-Cupholders
-Gauge pods
-Carpet trim
-Intake kits
-New surprise product

BTW: If any other centrally located Arizona members want to make some serious money working for me part time, PM me. I'm looking for more birddogs. Basically you will hunt for run down, beat up, or abandoned homes in your spare time. If I can successfully flip one of those homes, I will pay you 10% of my profit. This is usually around $1,000. I know birddogs for other investors who pull $2k-4k a month part time on a regular basis.
