I rent my house out to other people, so $0. (I live in the basement)

I steal all my groceries, so $0.

Aaaand, that's about it. Oh, $40 for internet and $50 for my phone.

    Total: $90/month.

Yeah, like someone else mentioned... providing your data to Mint or Quickbooks, it's the same company.

Along those same lines, Quizzle has suggestions to reduce spending and gives you a free credit score check. (with advice on how to improve, save more). The links to pay services is pretty obvious, like re-financing home or professional advice.

Hate the fact some of you all are getting internet cable for less. Here cost me 70 a month for comcast.

              mortgage - $1100 (taxes/insurance included)
              gas - $100
car insurance - $75 (pays for my wife's car too)
              internet - $67
cell phone - $120 (pays for wife's too)
debts - $250-1000 (depending on what I've put on my cards)
              food - probably $300-400
              elect/propane - $100
              garbage - $15
eating out - probably $100-200 (I really try to control this, it can get expensive fast!)

not bad considering I pay all the bills and have a kid too. :)

I also save about $300 a month (not including 401k/roth/retirement accounts)

This is really simple. Take your age X $100/month and there's your monthly nut, assuming you rent/own your own place. After your kids get out of grad school, then the grandchild expenses kick in. The only relief you get is when you die.

I signed up for Mint.com yesterday - wow. it's perfect for a procrastinator like myself. My biggest issue financially has always been bills spread out over many accounts that are hard to remember.. never had a major problem, but I've been a couple days late on a payment because of it. I downloaded the Android app and I can check the balances of all my accounts in one place. Awesome - now I don't have to use the completely horrible online interfaces of most of my banks.

now I can see how realistic my goal of eliminating all of my debt by summer is. It won't be easy but I'm going to be close. :)

yeah. I'm not really worried about the personal info - you can PIN the phone app (in addition to the password) and it doesn't let you do anything other than see balances. Compared to the personal info shared on facebook..

                            Core:

                            Phone
                            Insurance
                            Gas
                            Food
                            CC
                            Loan

Total ~$800/month give or take $200.

Also add my parts bill at work which usually totals over $500 each month and you get the picture.
