Part time jobs don't count I guess.
I'm happy with what I have while in school.

I hear ya on the away from home, I'm outta town two weeks at a time, sometimes three. It gets to you after a while and it sure makes a normal home life hard.

For me the out of town time is when I am my own boss so I like it. It's kind of nice to only have to work 4 hours a day and get paid quite well for it. Only downside to my job is that it can be stressful at times being responsible for the people's lives who fly in the helicopter. Just gotta stay on the ball.

Love my job, work eight days and get six off. Plenty of potential to learn and move up. My bosses make great money so it keeps me motivated knowing I'll be there some day. I work for union pacific in the signal construction department.

I'm a portfolio review officer at a major bank. I help make sure that companies that we have loans with are still in good shape. Do yourself a favor and double major or double degree in finance or accounting. Gives you more options. I was doing just accounting but I like finance stuff more and lovely so far.

I like finance and think that it's very useful. However, accounting is a pretty busy major and I'm on track to go cpa route so I think I'll have a pretty good amount of options after doing the typical cpa career for a little bit. Finance is definitely some good stuff, but I like accounting more.

Visser: Buddy I would kill for a 2-3 week at a whack travel rotation. I am gone for MONTHS at a time 2-3 weeks is a walk in the park for me.

Last stint was 28 weeks and no time off to go home for the holidays

I love my life as an opera singer! I would hate not being on stage, traveling and singing all over the world is such an incredibly fun life. I can't handle a 9-5 style job.

I also love being a freelance web designer on the side - although I have a love/hate relationship with my clients....

I love my jobs, teaching at the college and managing a radiology dept are awesome. Don't have much spare time, but satisfying nonetheless.

I'm a pilot, I love it, only downside is im on the road about 180 days a year. But the plus side is I only work 14 days a month.
Now look, I am not evil. My loan officer said so.
