Tuition, room and board at SLU is costing me over 42 grand next year. Youve got it on easy street compared to my student loans

I still got my apartment rent & elect. And possibly cable + internet. And then there's food. AND BOOZE! And insurance on two BMWs. But my FT job is now going all INTO THE BANK! Besides an iPod and whatever goes wrong on the cars.

But that's why I can buy two Bimmers, and mod and track one. Stayed focused during high school and got hooked up by Purdue. And trying not to fuck that up now to keep it going on.

Yea I screwed up last year. I needed to keep a 3.0 gpa to keep a $4,000 scholarship and I ended the year with a 2.96

              sorry to hear that Jamie.

I needed to keep a 3.5. And got a 3.5. Finals week, hell the whole semester was stressful. A lot of nerve-racking. But it wouldn't have been the end of the world without, just the standard student loans.

I'm gonna stay on track this semester and next.

After fall semester I had a 3.35, second semester a 2.53. I guess I'm just not a spring semester student. I'll get it back this year though, I just need to raise it those last .04 points.

Ahhh... graduated in 2000 from Drexel University (Philly, PA) and 2002 from the University of Florida. 3 years later still making my $203.17 student loan payment on $61,000+ of student loan debt. Its funny how 5 years at Drexel was as expensive as 2 years at UFL. Guess that's the difference between undergrad and grad school too. Its at 3.5% APR though... but I'll be paying it for the next 27 years

At least it is a tax deduction... the wife and I need all that we can get.

I dunno what to say. I was lucky enough to be automatically drawn by Purdue for the Indiana Resident Top Scholar (150 residents who are accepted get it). Honors Diploma, 4.5 weighted GPA, top 6% of class, ton of AP/Honors credits, decent 1450 SAT.

I made 3.25 first semester (sleeping in, spending time on forums or downloading porn rather than class before 3pm, and partying over studying), and 3.71 second. Right now, I have 51 credits and most are in the "matrix" or apply to graduation requirements. Not bad for taking 12 then 14 credit hours. Now I'm going back and doing 12 more. I might need one summer literature course to get 2 majors and 2 minors in during the remaining 3 years, without anymore than 16 credits a semester.

Spring semester is gonna be hard to stay focused. I turn 21 at the beginning of it.

If I play my cards right, I won't really have any debt after school, especially if I get a more $$ internship next summer and don't go crazy on my car. I'd like to be employed and then buy a 95 M3 when I get out. And then swap in a non-vanos M50 in my rat.

It's nice to get a lot of scholarship money. I am only paying about $5,000 out of $24,000 a year to go to my school. I have the highest academic scholarship they give, and I think I only need a 3.25 to keep it. My cumulitive is 3.7 going into my junior year, and I got a 3.96 last semester. I got a B+ in a 1 credit hour lab :(
