However, if this is going to be your only business, I would do some more research before you just jump into this.

There are approximately 25,000 members on this board, but usually no more than 500 viewing at any one time. Any you can bet that not all 25000 members will buy your apparel. lets say that on a given week all 500 members bought a t-shirt for 10 dollars, that would be 5000 dollars in revenue. Now subtract from that your price for each shirt you buy, then subtract the cost of printing or embroidering them. If you could get the shirts wholesale for 5 dollars, that just cost you an initial 2500. Now you have to print or embroider them, lets say for an additional 2 dollars per shirt. Now you are left with 1500 dollars. Then you have to subtract the time you put into making those shirts for that week, maybe 40 total hours at 10 dollars per hour this leaves in total 1100 dollars in your pocket. Which would be quite good in a week.

Then you have to figure that not everyone wants the same product in the same size, which will drive up costs more possibly driving up the amount of time you have to spend making them leaving you with less that 1100 dollars. Then most likely, you will not have returning customers, which means the demand at some point will fall off dramatically, and if you have stock piled product this may leave you at a loss.

Tell me if I am wrong on this, it is just a thought. I'm sure if you are really serious about this then you have already thought of all of what I mentioned.
You are exactly right, I have thought about this. But this will be a part time type of thing to bring in some extra money I may need for bills and other things. I know nothing will last forever, and I don't plan on sticking to just e30 apparel, I may list some things on ebay with unique bmw apparel. I live off of about 80-100$ a week, some weeks more than others depending on extra bills or whatever. I'll be working besides doing this, but I do appreciate your honesty and bringing out the other side of the spectrum. My goal is to sell around 100 to 150 shirts a week, I wasn't aiming high at all to be honest with you.I have some other ideas that are unrelated to e30s or this forum at all that I hope can bring in some money.

scabzzzz, saw the ninja edit. I've thought about this, which is why I'm seeing the types of responses I get. If it ends up not being worth it, I may only do something small to make a little something, or worst case scenario, not at all. We will see what happens though.
Im still down for marriage. We dont even need love bb. We'll have a garage full of BMW's and be makin really q2 kids and you can still bang dudes on the side as long as I can 2 (bitches, not dudes. Or possible 4 way?). OH and we can bang each other. And talk about BMW's. Deal?

Or possible gangbang? I mean, you're gonna have dudes surroudning you constantly. Maybe we can make vids n shit 2? BMW dudes would totally buy that. So basically, you're welcome. Theres your starter fund for your new business venture.

          Anyways, getting back on topic.

I'm thinking colors for the shirts, light blue, light green, and then it's a tie between red and white.

That's actually pretty cool, but if this is someone else's idea I don't want to steal it from them.
