Who here has problems with Paypal

I sold a set of suspension for an e36 m3 a year ago to this guy on this guy on craigslist. He was happy with the suspension and all then I guess one of the shocks blew out and he opened a dispute in Paypal and never sent back my parts.... So Paypal is sending me to collections. What do I do?

There's got to be more to the story.

You should have gotten notification that the buyer was filing a claim, did you respond to it with your side of the story??? If you just blew it off, then you are hurting yourself.

Unfortunately, Paypal has folks by the balls in situations like this. I'd try to call/email them and make sure you do everything you can to tell your side of the story.

Just tell them to eat shit. They'll start calling you from 3 different numbers under the name "ic systems" just block the numbers. Fuck paypal.

Unfortunately, by the time it gets to you, all of that fancy stuff will likely have been picked clean by the greedy postal service employees. Please don't be surprised to see just a plain envelope.

I really can't believe that paypal is able to do these things. You never offered a warranty with your sale, so why should the buyer be able to get a third-party mandated one?

he paid a year ago? and now filing?

not possible, unless he paid with credit card and filed a chargeback

generally you have 45 days to file on a person, and PP protects buyers...

On top of that Credit Card/Debit Card/Bank's don't do charge backs for anything past 6 months.

Tell them to go fuck themselves and daily dispute the ding with the credit reporting agencies on a daily basis.

Fuck paypal and ebay in general. They charge the highest fees on the auctions they can and then double dip by bending you over on their "protected" transactions. Then they treat the seller like a criminal despite any feedback you might have.

I think that is why Craigslist has gotten so popular, people are just fed up.
                        Im now E30less.

I sold some shoes to a douche on eBay. He wore them for three days in a thunder storm, then sent me an email saying they were muddy upon delivery. Now guess who's problem it is? He opened up a dispute against me, I elevated it to a claim and slammed him with my response. I'm still waiting for the results.

So who is going to start the next online pay service?

                              I abhor using Paypal.
