Yeah what a dick... gave his son a CAR?Paseo. Knew that immediately, being an older car guy. It was gay at the time and still is.
Far more gay was the 1st gen Nissan Pulsar NX. Feast your eyes on this 1983 gem:

Back then, a friend of mine got one in high school and I don't think he ever recovered. No, he didn't have a choice in the matter; his dad was a dick. What a great fucking way to emasculate your teenage son.
I had to buy my first car in college for $700. It was a Mazda Protege. Was it cool? No. Did I have a car? Yes. Did it make me happy? Yes.

Paseos are definitely gay... Classic Celicas are awesome though. I never would have even considered a Japanese car until I bought my old '84 Toyota pickup. That thing has been unbelievably awesome. Gets a "fast pass" on the emission test every year despite having 250,000 miles on the original engine... still has a carb too. Never falters, never changes... just keeps going and going and going. Gets about 27mpg too! I'd love to stuff a 7m-gte or a 1jz into it at some point... sleeper mini truck.'88 528e /// '88 M5 /// '89 951 /// '98 E430 /// '02 M5Comment

Here i am thinking you guys are high as fuck, but turns out we are both wrong.
The 2 door was made as an Australian and US model only, from '92 to '96 ('93 to '97 in AUS)
Also odd that as common as these cars are here (SO damn many here in Seattle area) the were a flop back home in Japan.Comment
