I watched one of the worst movies ever made last night.....
The wife put it in our Netflix queue, it arrived, we watched, it was terrible.
"Welcome to the Reillys" with James Gandolfini and the whiny, anorexic chick from the Twilight movies.
If you're wife/girlfriend wants to watch this, suggest going to an Opera, dinner with her mom, or any numerous things that would be less horrible.
What are some of the worst movies you have watched lately?
Haven't heard of that one. Will steer clear, thank you.
Not gonna lie. Opening this thread I thought you were going to say Transformers 3 - but I have read some reviews it's better than #2, and the best of the 3, I hope so, because I still want to see it in theaters. Who am I kidding, I will see it in theaters.
Since you warned me, I'll warn you:
Blue Valentine - No the acting wasn't bad, it was good, but it's not a movie worth watching in my opinion. If any of you guys saw it because your girlfriend/wife wanted to like me you'll understand why. Yeah it's not the typical feel good relationship movie... it's the opposite, it was depressing as hell. It's a realistic portrayal of a relationship from start to end. I'm like what the hell? Why are we watching Ryan Gosling movies? Never again. We watched All Good Things a few days before and it was Ryan as a seriously disturbed individual based on true events.

My GF made me see this on her birthday, very depressing as you said. She loves Ryan Gosling, and I was OK with seeing it because I was promised female nudity. I was dissapoint.
The worst movie I've seen recently? Children of Men. It got turned off a little over halfway through.
I was feeling masochistic one night and watched a movie that followed ABBA's 1977 world tour. It was as if the late 70's barfed all over me. I remember that era, but wow, it sure was weird. The crowds went absolutely gonzo over them.
I need to add: "Leaving Las Vegas." Totally depressing and what on earth was the point of showing a bad actor drink himself senseless?? (more senseless?)
I tried to get revenge on my wife for a chick flick, made her watch battlefield earth as that truly is the worst movie ever made. I could only take about 20 mins before I told her she had the right to make me watch true blood. Turned it off.
Battlefield earth is and always will be the worst movie ever made unless mitt Romney decides to make an epic saga about Joseph smith.
The one redeeming factor about battlefield earth is that I can laugh about the sci-ti's actually believing that steaming load.
Most movies suck. I prefer old Japanese flicks. I think I am going to pop in throne of blood w/ toshiro mifune. 1957 b&w samurai flick.

Gun control means using both hands
Sex, Drugs, Rock 'n roll. Pick two.
Cars-I just could not get into the idea all these cars had personalities. I was bored out of my mind.
Transformers-Lost interest about half way through. They changed so much and the fight scenes were confusing because the Transformers looked more like machines (all black or grey) than the original cartoon. Was not impressed at all.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull-Ford just didn't have the energy he had in the earlier ones. Otherwise it was just a Hollywood over done movie.
Avatar-For it's story alone. Pocahontas revisited.
And for shows it goes to...
True Blood. HORRIBLY written and terribly acted. The only thing good about this show is the women.

I actually liked it. That's exactly what it was--the realistic portrayal of a dying relationship. Supposedly they actually lived in that house while shooting and the director actually urged Gosling to try and bone whatsername so he could actually have the experience of being rejected by her.
The Human Centipede is another we tried to watch the other night.
It's the crazy scientist that grafts people ass-to-mouth, I fell asleep just as he was getting them all ready for their operations, the wife watched the rest and said it was terrible/mesmerizing at the same time. She couldn't believe someone actually put that on screen, so she saw it through to the end.
