The people driving those cars are generally ex cyclists. The tour organisers do this to make sure there's no stupidity with the driving as they have experience with riding around the team and support cars.Tim.Comment

Looked like it was hit the tree or the bikes to me......probably had his attention on not hitting those guys and then realized there was a giant tree practically in the road. Probably would have been worse for everybody if the car hit the tree.Comment
