If its a 3/4 burb with a gen VI 454 big block then you have a little less room as they are a little bigger, but I have a had 93 and 98 trucks with that engine in it and you still have lots of room under there to sit in the engine bay and work.

    The engine code your looking for is L31 aka the vortec 350

    As far as sitting in there and working, I just don't see how that's possible. Maybe if you remove the radiator and A/C comp. that has lines covering everything and once you f'k up and move the compressor the wrong way "BOOM" there goes all your freon. ask me how I know.

    I'm not one to down chevy guys, the L-series engines have been the shit and the fact that they are still using pushrod technology says a lot about them. Granted you guys have bigger engines in smaller sizes. I'm just and will always be a ford fan. Smaller volume, higher compression, same amount of output.
