HOw do you use the side brackets? I can place them but I cant get anything but wings to attach to them.
    Im now E30less.

Should just be able to attach boosters to them? In the top left corner there's a circle that allows you to attach multiple items in symmetry too, very helpful. Orbiting is the easy part, my next goal is a successful orbit and return back to the space center or as close to it as possible.

Well i have an elyptical type orbit with a peak around 270k and 2000m/s and low at 60k and 2500m/s. I think I have enough fuel to land now. Yay for self employment.

how high do you have to get to reach orbit?

You can orbit at pretty much any altitude above 25km which is the end of the planets atmosphere. Refer to the table I linked to for velocities to maintain the orbit.

I wish this had more instrumentation to differential velocity over land vs vertical speed, number of orbits its done etc. I'm going to let it orbit over night and land it in the morning if its still flying. Its really hard to get a circular orbit.

Argh, I cant orbit.. just go straight up.

I hate those side bracket things, they flex WAY TOO MUCH

Some handy tips/tricks in this forum as well as content/add-ons [page2] (bigger boosters/fuel/awesome stuff) when you download the extra content files you just copy/paste them into the "Parts" folder in the KSP folder.

This is the nuclear fuel...only good for deep orbit :)

Currently traveling at 12685 m/s at a distance of 91000K form earth.

                              Dont think ill make it.
