Hey man, we met at the oc meet last month. Congrats!!! This is incredible news. This is certainly a once in a lifetime gift so spend it wisely."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

gratz, don't blow it ... you'd be surprised at how fast you can melt through money.
invest..invest...invest
grab some google when it dips (lol yeah right, just buy it at 500+ a share)
and live off the checks.
cars are a depreciating asset, no reason to run out and dump 100k on a car that will be worth half of that amount in about a year or 3.
but have fun, live life, and realize that it is only paperI can run Auto Checks on VINs for tips/donations:
PM me VIN(s) and I'll get you ALL the public recorded info that I have available.

100k isn't even close enough to starting a shop that will generate enough income to live off of. And costs a LOT more in maintenance, and tools in itself.
Just sayin.. A shop CAN give you the money... It can also take away all that money, plus a lot more.
But, No matter what happens. Congrats.
We started a shop with $2500 almost 3yrs ago. Rent the space but own everything else. Since have moved from 1k sf to 2.5k sf and have clients pouring out of our ears. Mostly custom work and fabrication, but if the cards are played right it can happen.
