      My biological father has been gone since I was an infant. For my mom and my safety his family actively hid our whereabouts from him. Saw a picture from 1975 once visiting relatives. Looked like everyother guy from the 70's. I got drunk once in college and looked him up online, found a phone number. Never called. Not interested --- the man who raised me is my father and I could care less about the sperm donor. It is fairly likely I have half-siblings, and I don't really care. I can't imagine having the same half of genetics would make any relationship worth my time.

      That's just me, and I'm older than you and came to terms with all of that years ago.

      Thank goodness I have a common name, or facebook might be my nightmare too.
