Maybe I'm just a grammar nazi. Maybe I'm an asshole. Maybe the rest of the world just doesn't give a shit. Either way, what the fuck is with people that say "center counsel" or "center council"? I mean honestly, is that how you pronounce it in real life? Why would you spell it like that online? I usually don't give a shit if I look to the left and see the poster's location as anything that doesn't have English as a first language, but if you're in the US and you type "center council" you're a fucking idiot.

I've been drinking so this seemed like a legit thread at the time.

My girl friend is American, Florida born (I know some people have it hard)...She now lives in England. The problem is our spelling is so different as I'm Scottish (with a combination of English lanuage and Gaelic native) and she is American, when I write things or say things we always get confused what each other is saying. Intersting subject. The only thing that annoys me with you yanks...where is your "u" in Colour!!!

Off topic slightly, in the UK if you write an essay for university you have to choice of writing it complete in English english or American english but you can't chop and change. I never knew this till copying some notes from a friend for an essay due.
