They end up as all-tense-knowing-by-heart-with-no-ability-to-carry-any-conversation type of speakers... Poor bastards.

I always loved it when in HS in Indiana I wrote "learnt" in an essay the teacher corrected it to "learned". Then I walked up to his/her desk and told her the other spelling was right too. We argued till the end of class, then she came back apologizing the next day. Haha.

But what REALLY bugs me is when people, more and more frequently, put an apostrophe before the s at the end of a plural word.
When you see two E30s, don't type "I just saw two E30's", because it makes me look for the end of the sentence that tells me what part of two E30s you just saw.
