    Italian food sucks

Im only on day 4 and I am sick of the same shit made in a different order. Pasta fucking this and pizza fucking that. And no alternative is worth a shit. Chinese food is italian food. I went to an american themed pub, had something that might be beef on a pretzel roll with ketchup sweeter than anything found in Canada. And it was loaded with ketchup to a point it was oozing out (the italian touch - tomatoes in everything.) EVery dinner I feel Ive gained 10 pounds. And the coffee sucks. Cafe Americano is the closest I can get but I miss our South American born way we drink coffee. The mexicans taught us well. Speaking of, The food here is similar to Mexican in the way mexican dishes are all variations of themselves, but mexican is so much lighter of a food than italian food. I have eaten mexican everyday one week and I didn't feel like shit.

Im not Mr. America here but at least back home I can have authentic pizza (now that Ive had it here, its the same at home at any italian owned joint) one night, authentic japanese the next, authentic mexican the next, good old american burgers and beer the next, creole the next, greek, etc etc.
Ma che cazzo state dicendo? :|

Is this a joke? You sir are crazy, and have no idea what in the fuck you're talking about.

Where in Italy are you? I've been to Rome, Florence, and Venice. They are absolutely amazing, the food and coffee SHITS on anything America can produce. Incase you didn't know, an Americano is watered down esperesso. Euro's like their coffee strong, so that explains why you don't like it and need it puss'ed down.

                    Sorry it's not Folgers buddy.

For the number of times I spent in Italy, you sir need to get a translation app on your phone right now. Or start paying attention and pick up on the language. The food is incredible and the palette is so different throughout the country (e.g. Naples is completely different from Lucca). Diverge from the everyday crap you get back here in the states, try some real food!

Try just picking random stuff off a menu and see what you get. My family is from Lucca in the north and Agrigento, Sicily in the south. The first couple times I went over I spoke no italian and only had 1 cousin who spoke some english. If you keep an open mind and sharp ear you'll be able to pick up and the basics very quickly!
