Rant about idiots and spare tires.

Spare tires are easy to put on. Why can't people put them on right?

This girl asks me to check out why her car is vibrating so much with the spare tire (she shattered one of her ghetto rims in a battle with a curb the other night). I then removed three of the five lug bolts from the spare by hand when I got to her place.

The guy that put the spare on for her was an idiot for not realizing the ghetto rim bolts were too long for the stock spare. He did try using the plastic hubcentric ring from the ghetto rim as a wheel spacer. As a result, the center ring on the spare sheared off, so it is no longer a hubcentric wheel. It also has some cracks spidering out from the center of the wheel. Fucking artard.

The best I could do was find the stock lug bolts and put the spare tire on as properly as possible and tell her to go to a tire place to get it fixed right or risk ruining her new car even more than the ghetto rims. I was supposed to put the stock wheels back on, but I didn't have the tools or the time to get to the tpms sensors on the ghetto rims and put them back on the stock rims. I did at least put the stock wheels in the car for her.

Because the guy who put the rim on decided he was getting paid $9/hr to do it right or wrong, he didn't care. Half ass job with a low work ethic.

I always laugh at the people who put space saver wheels on the front of a FWD car. Bye bye differential!

It would simulate always going around a bend. No harm. Unless its a lsd.

lsds let a certain amount of slip through. i think they'd be mostly ok.

and most cars are open, so that really doesnt matter.

Not many FWD cars with a 'donut' spare and a LSD.

You put a damaged wheel back on, just so TPMS would function, instead of putting a good wheel on without the TPMS sensor?

What? I hope commission adds up to at least another $7-8 an hour.

as long as its busy (been hot and cold as of late) i usually make 10 plus an hour with commission included..so its really not bad but not great either

but that will greatly improve once season gets here and all the old people return ..it sucks but my bills are paid plus some
