I finally watched my DVR'd episode of Jersey shore from this past yesterday. Nicole (Snookie) is a really confused young lady! She always says " I'm a good person...I don't deserve this". She gets drunk all the time and acts like a total idiot and expects everyone to be okay with it because "that's who I am" she says. I don't understand the why reality shows such as Jersey Shore and The Real World, try to make it seem like getting drunk and hooking up with strangers is the norm for a young adult. They often get into fights and make poor decisions because they're drunk all the time. Also, when it's convenient, they defend acting like total sluts. Jionni was super pissed to find out snookie was over in Italy getting drunk in public and sluttin it up with girls like she's some kinda lesbo! The dude is likes to have a good time, but doesn't promote drunken stupidity. She knows this, but continues anyway. She and all her roommates curse the guy because he dumps her. Why does he have to accept her stupidity? If He doesn't like the things she's doing and how she acts, he has the right to dump her, plan and simple. When ever someone tries to point out that what she's doing is in appropriate or wrong, she gets defensive and says "your being mean to me right now...I don't wanna talk to you". IF she can't accept correction, then she'll continue to screw up. Sometimes we can't see the flaws in your own behavior or character, and good friends will try to help us see that so we don't continue to make ourselves look like assholes.
She says she's in love with her boyfriend Jionni, but I think she is just I love with the idea of being in love.
