I've used a Gillette Fusion for years though.

I had the Gillette Fusion since I got it for free in the mail when I turned 16 lol. Awesome company for doing that program. I lost that razor a few months back so I bought a Fusion Pro Glide. I see and feel no difference for any of you wondering if the difference is dynamic.

ive used a mach 3 for years now but it still bugs the hell out of my skin. ive been thinking of a straight razor for quite some time so i might just go that route.
tried electrics and they are garage, not close enough and takes too long.
so anyone recommend a decent "tryout" straight razor to get. i don't want to spend $80 on something that im to retarded to use.Last edited by Mullet Bullet; 10-08-2011, 09:23 PM.

K. So I received this yesterday, and tried it out this afternoon. It does feels a bit different from using a regular multi-blade disposable (kind of feels and sounds like a straight razor shave from the barber), but I like it. I can't really argue that that it leaves my face any smoother. It's definately shaves as close, maybe even a little closer, but it's difficult to discern a huge difference.
But the biggest benefit, I think, is that it didn't leave a razor-burn feeling.
I generally have to shave everyday, so I'm going to give it the rest of the week before I make a firm decision to stick with it.

I'll shave every two or three days with a Quattro--the more blades the better, right? ;)
I've done the brush and soap thing for awhile, soon I'm going to migrate to a safety/double-edge razor and eventually try my hand at using a cutthroat.
There are actually shaving forums out there, believe it or not. I looked into it a loong time ago.paint sucks
