    Whats your alternative to the Ipod?

    So I have just upgraded from the ipod headphones to some Skullcandy Hash and I mush say that they are an awesome buy. Now my Ipod is very old and needs upgrading but I am no apple fan and want to know what your alternative to the ipod is. Pro and cons included.

          Just about any newer smart phone. Currently using the HTC Thunderbolt. Don't hate it, but not in love with it. Works great purely as a music player though.

              Winamp on my Android phone. Absolutely NO point having a separate music player with a smartphone.

                  I just have an ipod classic 120 gig that i leave in the car hooked up to the deck. It charges it and the only time i take it out is to go in the gym.

                  Not an apple fan, but at the time i bought it, it was the largest thing out there.

                              Nice, but it can be flaky sometimes. Hardy, though, just like my last one.

                                          It actually is pretty convenient to have a separate music player even if you have a smartphone.
                                          Who the hell likes having to pause there music every time a text or call comes in? iDon't
                                          and what about those times when you want to carry your phone on you and talk and leave music playing for others or just in the background?

                                          With that being said, I'm no fan of the Apple cult but it gets no better than ipod touch or nano.

                                              Had a 32GB Zune HD. Great device, but not enough room. And I absolutely DESPISE the Zune software that you HAVE to use. Just sold it and am back to using my tried and true Creative Nomad Zen Xtra with the hard drive upgraded to 160GB. It's gigantic by today's standards, but I only ever use it in the car, so it really doesn't matter.

                                                  HTC EVO music all the time, doesnt require headphones, removeable sd card, I can even listen to music during a phone call
