If you worked for me and things happened as described, I'd have canned your ass on the spot. I sign the paychecks, so I am entitled to have a bad day.

Jesus man grow up. That boss sounds nice compared to what you will run into in the real world. Buy an alarm clock and be a little more responisble. you have to learn to swallow your pride when you work for someone else. I can't imagaine talking to my boss that way even if they told me that. I would have said "yes sir, I did, I'll do my best to not let it happen again."

Buy 2 alarm clocks a mobile with alarms set in multiple times,
If that is what takes you to get to work on time that is what you need,
I am my co-worker have set arrival times, but things just aren´t like that in the IT business,
when you have a job that requires you to be on time , be on time, it´s a part of the job descriptionGunni

If you just said that shit probably would have went better and you would have shown him that you dont appreciate getting told you fucked up on the phone. The second bit just killed you.Originally posted by Justin B
I get there, clock in, shuttle a kart out to the track and on the way back on the quad he asks me...
Boss - So what happened?
Me - I told you exactly what happened on the phone.
Boss - Well you picked the worst Worst WORST WOOOOOOORST day to sleep in!
Me - I dont appreciate you telling me I "FUCKED UP" over the phone. Not like I didnt know I screwed up already.
