          I loved Econ, but I am a victim of old habits (procrastination) so I pretty much averaged a B in micro and macro

            Dear god, this thread is reminding me that I am now "old." I joined r3v around the beginning of my Junior year. Mostly lurked for the first few years. I miss a lot of things about college, but not so much the being broke and having to worry about exams parts lol.

                  Sorry, never saw this. I go to Mesa Community college right now. I'm not quite sure where I want to transfer yet.

                  I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering, but may change that cause I didn't realize how in depth engineerinf was computer based. I want to do more of the fabrication aspect of things, but that is a wholllee different ball game.

                    Actually, Business Advisory. Its way more interesting (to me) and I will be exposed to much more in terms of industry and other firms. Hopefully it will lead to a consulting/valuation gig in the future. I'm super excited.

                    I have heard from multiple people where I will be working that the BAS (business advisory service) folks frequently receive job offers from clients they serve. So I'm just going to do my best to kick ass and see where my career goes.

                            A in my only class

                            Got all the classes I needed for next semester. This will mark the first semester EVER in my 3 year collage-career that I've never had to petition on a wait list.

                            Only 1 class this semester, so it's just about time to bawse til Christmas

                                My diff EQ class went something like this: the first day we sat around for 1.5 hours naming professions (prisoner is apparently a profession btw), and at the end he said "All of these use math." Um, OK, but what does that have to do with why we're in this class? We start in the middle of chapter 4 for some reason and no one has any idea what's going on. After a few classes and he writes on the board:

                                y = -1+x
                                x = -1+y

                                "Given this, they will both eventually die off. However, if you change the negative 1 to positive 1, and one is the father and one is the son, and they give everything to each other, they will live forever. Prove it."

                                I hope your class is better...
