Do you have a place I can crash? Because I'll come. You can't just invite me and expect me not to show up.

If you really want a motivation to work on your grades...pay out of pocket. That'll sober your ass up real quick about how much $$$ is at stake. Escpecially when you can't get a refund for a class after slacking off.

Of coursh. There are two fat, expensive, leather, electrically-reclining couches in my La Jollan living room.

Well then, I sincerely accept your invitation. I'll start my rigorous push up regiment tonight in preparation for a night I'm sure to remember and then forget.

I can do this. I can really do this.

One of the last ones was only 16. I'll leave her home this time. Bless her heart because she's a doll and I love her to death, but even I'm not ready to go to prison.

But in order to do this I'm working to the bare bones...I'm really wanting to find an alternative solution that doesn't involve loans. I don't qualify for Grants anymore because I make "too much money". Working at McD's for 30 hours a week puts you over that line.
Please tell me when you find a solution....

I guess just work your ass off until you get promoted for more $$$.
I've been doing that and informed my immediate supervisor (Senior Project Manager) that I'll have my Associate's along with a Six Sigma green belt July next year. I'm work on a bachelor's in business/project management w/ a concentration in renewable energy w/ six sigma certification...UGH. He wants to bring me on as an apprentice to take over when he retires in 2016. I've been trying to get that apprenticeship for over a year now....feels good.

Welp - my Saturday went to the dogs. Have been in the library since the morn' cracking away at a 12 pg paper of US-Chinese Economic Trade Policy. Centered around Chinese currency undervaluation, etc...

Literally watching the San Diegan sunet over the trees and clouds from the lib 7th floor

At least you get to work from California's most zombie-secure library.

I've been writing a 13 page essay simply breaking down the financial statement formats between the top four Airline companies, with one of them being prepared under U.S. GAAP, and the other three under IFRS.

                            Blow me, now.

Oh yeah, and all four hedge international currencies as contingency plans. I'd blow myself if I could.

Lol my step-dad specializes in that. It's a very under-estimated drain on our economy the way they peg their currency. Luckily things are evening out a little bit with the inflation they're experiencing, but our trade relationship with them isn't a good one.
