After a year break from 2 years of Mechanical Engineering I'm back at it, 6th week at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and loving it. I'm studying Industrial Design(with a focus on product and vehicle design). I'm currently doing the all year round, 11 week semester program. Certainly a lot more work in a much shorter time, but I'll be done my Associates in 2 years, and a Bachelors will only ad another year if I so choose.

Most of this is pretty basic,

    Fabrications
    Observation Drawing
    Perspective Drawing
    Intro to Design Applications
    Intro to Visual Arts

    Go here be happy!

Next semester should be interesting. It should be my last semester at GA Southern University. I'll be Transferring to Georgia Tech next fall. I can't wait to move back to North GA. Any other Ramblin Wrecks on here?

My courses for next semester will be:

Comprehensive General Chemistry (Basically Chemistry for engineering majors)
      Dynamics of Rigid Bodies
Creative Decisions and Design (A pre-Georgia Tech transfer class)
Computing Techniques (A 2nd level Matlab class)
      Ordinary Differential Equations

My week this week is going to be nuts as fuck.

Tuesday: I have a paper due. I'm trying to finish it over this weekend.
Wednesday: Fly from San Diego to Chicago. Get hotel, chill, prepare for interview.
Thursday: Interviews. Then heading to airport in the evening. Flying to Charlotte.
Friday: Interviews in Charlotte. Gonna kick it and hopefully discover a bit of the town.
Saturday: Early morning flight to Chicago. Get off plane, take train to Evanston. Kick it with my bud at Northwestern.
Sunday: Try to soak up some more of NWU then head back to airport. Fly back to San Diego.

Sounds like pre-school sh*t compared to some of the classes I'm seeing on here. I don't miss being an engineering major one bit.
sure your classes might not be "difficult", but you're going to school to make something of yourself and thats what matters.

That's dope. The field I'm trying to get into has a lot of crossover with comp engineering.

Shout-out to all the R3v nerds, keep up the good work guys!

Ugh 79% on my Accounting Principles Exam bringing my grade to an 86% . Oh well, I'm still holding a 4.0 in my 3 other classes. Working 50+ hours every week, going to school full time, and being a husband at once is exhausting.

Can't wait to start up my six sigma green belt course during the summer.

Feeling like this right about now:

Welp. Thank you GA Tech for screwing ALL of your transfer students. Looks like I'll be taking a semester off of school next fall. Time to find another summer/fall internship.

Has anyone on here done a study abroad? Where did you guys go? How did you like it? What classes did you take? I'm an ME and I have been considering doing one instead of taking a semester off.

                              Hey - do it.

I wish I could have done it when I had the chance.

I was supposed to go sophomore or junior year, but was retarded and stuck it out for 3 years on the crew team and fucked my back up.

Soooo many things you can do in college - take advantage of it all.

Now I find myself as a senior, taking 20 units per fuckin quarter + an honors thesis ALL just to graduate on time and make the 2015 recruiting class for a bank.

If you don't NEED to graduate on time for a particular reason, go for it.
