I'm screwed. My e30 is up on jack stands with no suspension under it and the parts aren't supposed to be here until tomorrow at the earliest. Tammy took the touring and our son and headed up north to her Mom's about an hour ago. I have to stay behind to board up the house and take care of the servers here at the office. I work for an insurance company so I have to make sure we are up and running SOON after all this mess to handle the claims.

You guys over closer to the coast are going to get the surge, but hell I'm 35 miles SW of Houston and going to be right on the east side of the eye wall. My house won't flood, but I have an acre full of HUGE old trees and I'm pretty certain some are coming down on the house and the e30.

I should have stayed in Kansas where all I had to worry about was the damn tornados.

BTW, it's now a category 5 and the winds are around 165, all that wih 2 more days to grow out there.

Good luck to you. Stay safe. No way at all to roll the e30 to a safe spot - like in a garage?

struts are off of it with the springs off of them. Tires are off the wheels. Luckily the body isnt' that good anyway so all the stuff that is worth something to me should come through safe, like the engine, etc. Garage with have my e34 and my Harley. I'll cry big man tears if the Harley bites it.

If that's a joke, it ain't funny. I personally have had my fill of all the Jordan bashing/negative comments whatever. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The count of dead from Katrina is already over 1000 and still rising, and that shit just ain't funny man.

On the one hand, I know guys who park their Harley's in their houses (bedrooms, living rooms, etc.). On the other hand, I know people who had trees crash through their bedrooms, living rooms, etc. I am not sure if that helps in your decision making process, but it's food for thought, eh?

That's kinda ironic since the people bashing Jordan seem to be the ones that he bashed for so long.

yea, kansas, go back to kansas! its safe there. remember, tornadoes ONLY hit the trailer parks, or really rual parts of like the west or south. youll be safe in your house. otherwise, good luck man, stay safe, and its not worth risking your life for your toys sake. thats what insurance is for!.
