LMAO at all the ignorance being displayed.

Psh and come on guys, Ken Block > Everyone.

But seriously, my bid is in for Colin Mcrea(rip) as the best driver of our current time. Im also a huge fan of Stewart, Jackie Stewart that is. Is it obvious I'm Scottish?

My vote for worst helicopter pilot of all time.

              As far as Dale goes,
Earnhardt Sr. got an OK from Doug Fehan, program manager for Corvette Racing, to acquire the purpose-built C5-R’s from GM. “One day soon, we’re going to find a way in our schedule to get over to Le Mans and see what it’s like,” Earnhardt Sr. told Fehan. “Me and my boys are going to do Le Mans.”
But two weeks after finishing fourth at Daytona’s 24-hour with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Andy Pilgrim and Kelly Collins, Earnhardt Sr. suffered his fatal crash on the last lap of the Daytona 500. Despite having laid the groundwork to set up his own Corvette team, Earnhardt Sr.’s death ended DEI’s plans to enter sports car racing.
Plenty of NASCAR drivers have been invited to race in that series, just like plenty of touring car racers have been invited to race in NASCAR, Boris Said for one. Look at his record in NASCAR as opposed to other racing, it's important to realize each car series is different in many ways. Montoya has not even come close to dominating in NASCAR.
              Yours truly,
              Rich

Hey, what's going on in here? I clicked to make fun of NASCAR, but just hit the "last page" button. I feel I am late, a few days....fuck.

80's Group B rally and 80's/90's DTM > any other motorsport.
There's not many other things I would buy a time machine for to see in person.

Gotta be F1. There is so much an f1 driver has to do,,, change engine mapping, brake bias, kers, drs, pit lane speed setting, most limited visibility, race in the rain, etc. all while pulling 5g's under braking and 4g's laterally in the twisties. No knock on the others but I dont see how NASCAR can even be in the equation when the only time they hit the brakes is to slow down for pit lane. Out braking is a huge component of racing, and prob the most common form of passing in motorsport. Yes NASCAR takes skill, but less of a skill set then F1 and WRC.

I actually think you proved my point, however. Some riders would be more skilled at one vs another I would assume.

but anyway, I don't know, since I'm not a bitch. :giggle: (I'm just kidding by the way)
ummmm No to be competitive you and the mount have to be very proficient at all 3 events. While there may be a preference or slight natural advantage to Cross Country and Jumping over the dressage in what the mount or the rider prefers doing, you cant falter much in any category to place well.

your not questioning my masculinity because I am familiar with equine sports are you :D

That's a good point, for the amount of money those NASCAR boys are getting paid I can't see why any decent WRC driver wouldn't jump ship and just dominate the shit out of that league if it were really so easy.

That being said, the annual Race of Champions (even though it's a total clusterfuck) is usually a toss up between F1 and Rally drivers.

I don't think nascar is easy, however I do think it is incredibly boring to watch. All the tracks are generally the same. Just to much repetition. Plus it completely takes over speed channel.
Except when Bubba was dominating the shit out of everyone, I haven't watched in a couple years, is he still racing and/or good?

F1 easily. You have to be so fit for the demands of the race, as well as being mentally fit to hit all the braking points and apexes right every time, keeping the car within the boundaries of the race strategy while gaining or maintaining position, there is just a lot more going on. Nascar isn't easy but its not at the same level of F1.
