Hell of a web design - test it for me....

No - nothing crazy - HTML, table based. Looking to force a design into reality. With HTML It's not so eazy.

Can you check this site, and browse the menu.

a.) Do you see breaks in the border?
b.) 56k? how long to load?

I've should have done it in flash - but I wanted it to be portal search frenidly.....

Do you see breaks in the outter lines

(ps - I uses CSS - but it does not seem to help)....

    ...let me know...

...and yes - she is cute....so cute....

cd sample page ... it appears you are using a larger sized table. at my current res, 1280x960, that page gives me horiz and vert scrollers.

but i like the design ... then again, im a sucker for simplicity.

oh yeah, cd sample page ... it looks like someone is out of frame, taking her from behind.

How was that hard to impliment? I looks like a 5-6 column table, thats about it.

On the CD page I get a horizontal scroller for some reason as well.

Firefox in windows is mostly good, but the last to pages have an issue. The center section is shifted slightly down when compared with the other three. No real way to fix that though... just browser choking on to many tables etc.

I like the way it looks. That is way better than anything in flash. Flash is cheesy and anoying, stick with the tables.

I am using firefox and all pages line up and there are no breaks in the boarder.

Are you sure about that? I have embedded tables up to 4 tables deep and never had any issues.

Tired it in IE and I got the scroll bars on the cd sample page. I looked at your source code and in line 10 you have the width at 102%. On the other pages its set to 100%

looks fine but it seems a bit flat, more contrast would help (especially in the menu area).

Loads fine, but I gotta admit, it seems kinda low end. Did you do this in frontpage?

This layout would look a lot nicer and flow much better in flash. As is, it just seems like a bunch of static HTML.

Edit: Duh, just read why you did it in HTML.

A simple mouseover on the menu would bring more life to it I think.

                            <table width="102%" height="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
That's why it's going horizontal in IE.

Simple, but tasteful. Spice it up a little here and there and I can dig.

First of all - thanks for your frank comments - just what I was looking for !!! Knew I could count on you guys.!

The reason this site was hard? Well - ever broswer displayas text in different sizes - and some web broswers(if not all) let you select how big or small you want text displayed. You can remove that option for the user, by using CSS - Easy to do - sometimes - but even in Firefox the you can bypass it. hence the prolbem.
Large text - and teh table expands - and it looks like crap....

MOST web sites are only 2 or 3 sided - they are allowd to "expand" with the text- with 4 sided you have to be careful, unless you use all images, - but then again - forget search engines.

Now for 99% of people it will display fine, but if you are running firefix and crank up your text display settings the html table will go to all hell. That's what I was worry I had done.

Google and Yahoo are suspose to be working on allowing their "robot" cralwers to search flash pages soon - like they do with pdf's... (been hearing about it for years - never seen any proof...so hence the HTML....)

PS - no hidden cookie - or is there????

                              ....
