Wifi is always worth the few dollars, especially now that iOS 5 has iMessage.

Wish I knew this a couple hours ago...I've been emailing my gf (we both have iPhones/iMessage.

This is why I fly in and outta small airports. Its worth the little extra cash to go though smaller ones, where you are treated a little more like a person than live stock. Not much better but a little bit.

OH Speaking of the TSA. As I got to ABE (Allentown PA) this trip out to work I am leaving the secured area, and you walk right along the TSA check point on the way out (they are doing some renovations STILL) the Suppervisor for the bunch of TSA goons was sitting at his computer reteaching/ Looking at Gun Broker auction for a F/N SCAR 16s (the 5.56/.223 version)

Can't fly through small airports when going International.

I found it interesting that coming back from Jamaica, we had to go through customs in Dallas, get our bags, then have them re-checked in Dallas.

None of that happened when coming back from the Bahamas last year.

I think the Bahamas may have different customs requirements.

Re-checking bags after US customs blows... especially when you check a bag.

I found it funny that customs in Germany (at least in Munich) is voluntary. I always bring hundreds of dollars in gifts haha.

When I was ten, on a flight back from Germany, an old man died on our plane from a hart attack. Its not very funny, but it sure was crazy.

Earlier this month when flying to vegas for sema, we had a medical emergency because some old guy passed out, it was pretty hectic. And on the way back home we had a second emergency because a different guy passed out, luckily there was a nurse on board each flight (same girl both times). Crazy shit watching everyone freak out when the words "we have a medical emergency" come over the intercom.

My uncle is a paramedic and was flying back from Europe when some
Lady got violently Sick. He took care of her and did whatever it took to make sure she was going to be ok/help her feel better and the airline bumped him and my aunt to first class for the rest of the flight and have them 10,000 miles free.

Every time I fly I get stuck next to a kid. They are either crying their ass off or their parents are playing with them, which causes them to scream and laugh. Also got stuck by a pregnant lady who fell asleep once, wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't have to go to the bathroom.

A few weeks ago I took a short flight from Sacto to Vegas via SouthWest Air (~1.5 hrs). My GF was with me so no need for WiFi there :-D

About a year ago I flew to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines (a 5+ hour flight). They did have WiFi but I didn't opt for it. Many family members were with me so we killed time catching up as well as maintaining a sufficient buzz thanks to the uber expensive beer (beer prices on that flight are on par with a swanky club....upwards of $10 for imported stuff).
