        that list is weak, most of those bands were pop bands back in there day and some semi funny cynical asshole said the same things about them. Besideds Nirvana, Rem, Simon and Garfunkel, and springsteen all suck.

              That list also doesn't take into account how accessible music is now compared to back then, along with the proliferation and mass-marketing of it now.

              You can't compare music now with music then in those terms. You can take anything you want in the right (or wrong) context and make the numbers work.

                    Drawing comparisons between those acts is irrelevant given the extreme changes in the industry. It is much easier to sell music to 'tards than it used to be.
