keppler 22 confirmed as located in the habitable zone, temperature at 22 C.

keppler 22 has been brought up on r3v before, but this time it's confirmed. it would support liquid water (if it's there.) and it's only 600 light years away.

    e30 caravan? ;)

Astronomers confirm the existence of an Earth-like world orbiting a star like our Sun in its "habitable zone" - at a balmy 22C.

that's a great idea. it should only take us 550 light years to get there now!

Kinda off topic but have you been following this... pretty cool accomplishment and interesting science.

We'd have to fab up some sort of a hardcore heater core to battle the deep cold of space, maybe a fish tank?

I wonder how many timing belts that would take in a M20 powered car?

88.79 billion timing belts, assuming you change them every 60,000 miles, 2.118 trillion dollars if you got them all from from blunt...

Assuming the m20 can last 3.527 quadrillion miles. Might want to do an m30 swap before we head out.

Now that is some refreshing news about space exploration ever since the budget cut.
