I live with my mom who is Asian (filipino) so yeah I take off at the door.

its weird because whenever I go to my white friends house my first instinct is to take off my shoes and they look at me weird when i actually do.

Take them off....carpet is nice and comfortable, and a total bitch to clean.

I take them off, with the caveat that sometimes when it's really cold I'll leave them on. It's an apartment at college though and I have no real attachment to my floor, haha.

I sleep with my shoes on.

but seriously... it depends. at my parents house always take them off at the door, if I'm at my apartment I will wear them to my room and take them off there since the roommates aren't as liberal with keeping the floor clean.

Not sure which is worse, nasty sweaty ass feet, or shoes after walking through a stall. I dunno that's why when I get inside I hop on this.

The whole world thinks Americans sleep with their shoes on because of Fresh Prince etc.
I can't stand the idea of walking at home with shoes that might have a piece of dog shit on em.

I think it's pretty dirty wearing shoes indoors myself. I am wearing slippers as I speak but I don't wear them around town. The ground is a dirty place.

I usually wear them, unless I'm lounging around the house. We have a housekeeper that vacuums the tile and carpet every day though, too.
