Shoes in the house

I wouldn't want to walk in my house with the same surface that has touched public places that have been spit/urinated/defecated upon at one point or another. With that note, I hate people that don't respect a "shoes-off" policy at a house and give attitude when you ask them to take them off.Comment

I think if you expect people to take off their shoes in your home, you should have slippers to offer them.turk@gutenparts.com

I agree, rude to expect people to leave their shoes at the door.
I don't have time to take off my shoes at the door, I'm a busy man.Comment

I HATE not wearing shoes. I have really high arches and walking barefoot hurts a decent bit. I am in shoes pretty much from the time I get out of the shower in the morning until just before I go to sleep.
I will take them off at someone else's house though if they so request.Comment

not taking your shoes off at the door, is almost the same thing as letting a fat girl sit in the center of your hood!!!
If you have respect for your things, you would take your shoes off- unless your mommies are still cleaning the floors for you.
that being said, my wife would kick my ass if I decided to walk through the house with shoes on.Comment
