Worst timing on being broken up with?

Ex-GF went to the ARMY, I loved her and what not, did the whole letter, couple calls, and even went to Oklahoma to visit her on her Graduation from Basic Training. After that she went to Florida to continue her training... a couple weeks later her sister calls me to tell me she's been cheating on me. (-_-) A week later I'm throwing a party and her sister comes, I'm shitfaced, she's shitfaced, she's passed out in my room on the floor and I go to bed. She wakes me up at 4:30 something in the morning, half naked on top of me. So I said, "Fuck it! I'm down!" And yeah... you can guess what happened next...

My wife and I have been "on the rocks" for sometime. I have moved in and out twice already and have had to deal with all the deposits and such each time alone. I am on a temp job with the local university on contract until march 30.. She told me last night shes filing for divorce and will start child support on April 1st... FML..

Damn. I hate friends like that, that you can't even hang out with them. All my friends (be it boys and girls) have always been chill enough that they love meeting my new girlfriends. The relationships that I had that never worked out were ones where the GF had horrible friends who were habitual liars or all her dude friends were assholes. Unfortunately there is at least some truth to whom a person is by who they surround themselves by. Good luck to you and hopefully no more wormtongueing friends for you!

you love your kids? I bet yes. go for split custody (you get them part of the time, she get's them part of the time) no emotional death by being seperated from your kids, AND no Child support in either direction (at least if there isn't a gross difference between income lvl's)
this is pretty standard in Canada now, IDK what it is like in the US.

Yeah all my friends loved her! I had a little new year's get together and everyone thought hightly of her. Sadly her friends just didn't want to even bother with meeting me. Awesome analogy though, I lol'd good and hard.
