so christmas came really special this year, thank you truck driver on the phone. Anyways, the bump wasnt that hard, (the middle car got it the worst) but since then the engine oil light on the overhead keeps coming on( theres oil in the car), and it stutters and sometimes shuts off on me. anyone know what it could be?

That is a sweet gift actually, you will probably get $1500 to fix it. At which point you can pocket $1450 after you get a bumper for $50 and keep driving.

Any idea why its stuttering now?

When I accelerate its wants to bog out.

before the hit it ran like a champ, no stutters or anything.

I still think back to 1982 when i asked for a cassette player/stereo system for X-MAS and my parents bought me a 8-track player/stereo system was worse. Still haunts me to this day.

i know.. but their cars dont bother me. My car made it 29 years without a hit and now its fucked because some fat ass in a truck cant talk and drive at the same time..

doesn't seem to have structural damage..minor rear repair so a brand spankin new bumper, shocks and impact strip is a go! better still, collect the cash and save money buying new old parts and fixer up!!

check the motor mounts if it got ripped and the engine moved forward a bit. just sayin.
