Should she have let him in to rape and stab her to death? Next would have been killing or kidnapping and possibly the son who is the legacy to his dead father.

If some pile of garbage sees it fit to come in to an 18 year old girl's house with a 12" long knife he deserves exactly what he got. That's not a poor decision, it's not like he stole a video game from Wal-Mart.

I don't think he was stalking her, he probably was just scouting out the house a couple of times before he came back to do his dirty deed. They were more then likely there for the drugs and money. I'm sure there's no way she could have known that and I don't blame her for thinking the way she did.


Either way, all I said was that she could have yelled out to them or gave them a warning shot to let them know she is armed and ready. Thats the law in some states for a reason.

You don't give warning shots, you pull a weapon when you intend to use it, to kill. He got a warning when he had to kick his way into the house. I nor anyone else here would risk the safety of themselves or their children for the sake of giving someone who has armed himself to kill me, to give them a second chance. I wouldn't enjoy it and I'd feel bad for the guys family and even him for thinking he had to risk his life to steal, but I certainly wouldn't regret it.

blah blah blah blah blah...her husand died, she is alone ina fricking trailer park with her little son...and some idiot is breaking in with a knife?

Done and done. Yes, he can be someone's son or father, BUT, that isn't an excuse for (in this case the trailer park mother and her little kid)?

That just goes back to possibly root cause of the intruder not getting good parenting etc to grow up to become such fucktool.

I would have no moral barriers to blowing a fucking hole through a scumbag like this if they tried the same with my house. I have several guns strategically stashed for just this purpose. The only thing I'd worry about is the good ole' state of California fucking me over in court for a number of bullshit reasons after the fact. Better off paying fines and serving time than having me or my pregnant wife harmed.

2) Avoid killing a man, but kill if neccessary.

There is no wrong answer given the situation butI personally would have chose number two.
