Would an F20C fit into an E30?

He doesn't have any pictures of his bellhousing adapter. He is probably the most knowledgeable r3v member that has 6 posts.

It's been done and here in CALI. In a e30 and in a 2002.
Were developing a easy to install kit.

    And better video

    And in the E30

    ^ That's right
I couldn't care less about the e36. We're talking about the e30 here.
Watch it and look how the engine sits in there. It's nothing like the other one.

I'm sure he wouldn't have moved his firewall if he didn't have to.

Look, this is just silly. I'm probably the only guy on his board who has approached a reputable shop and spent time, energy, and money to seriously investigate an F20C swap into an E30. If you spend literally 5 minutes looking under the hood of an S2000 and taking some basic measurements, you'll see what the problem is.

Look at our 190E 2.3-16 build thread to get an idea of how I approach a project. I'm not someone who's afraid to take on an unusual build, but I don't half-ass things. Cutting out subframes, moving firewalls, getting rid of swaybars, and moving steering racks just to stick 470 pounds of Honda motor into an E30 doesn't make sense.

One project I'd love to do is build a poor-man's S42B20 using the Euro E46 318 diesel crank, S50 rods/pistons, and Euro S50 ITB's. Finish with Schrick or Dbilas cams and standalone. It's been done and power output is nice.
