well yea the wireless head phones suck, and i know that most wireless ear-buds are not much better. i just want someone to make ones that,as i have said before, sit completely in the ear(like the old hearing aids)- not the ones that go around the ear

like this: these are bigger ones

      Medium:

      Small:

If they have the technology to make hearing aids this small, then why not ear buds?

I'm sure they do. But it's probably currently very, very costly/still reserved for military applications.

Go with skullcandy if your expectations are low and you lack the ability to distinguish quality sound from mediocre. They're not horrible and there are worse choices out there, but they're by no means to be considered a quality item.

What do you recommend for working out then?

For those of you looking at wired earbuds, I have a pair of Shure SE115s and they kick ass. They're a good bang for the buck, highly recommended.

I hate working out with in-ear earbuds due to the sound isolation. You hear the thump of your feet, the rubbing of the cord, etc. Plus I like to be able to hear cars when I run outside.

I'm thinking about picking up some of these: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-OMX.../dp/B0035JKJ4U

Edit: Okay, maybe not. For $30 the reviews aren't looking that stellar. But I want some in that style, anyway. Or maybe these.

If you like music to sound good, ear buds FTL.

I have a friends who splurged on a high end par of Audi Technica over the ear headphones and they are the best sounding things I've ever heard. Just sitting on the desk face up, they sounded louder and better then the speakers in his laptop. lol

These and similar ones are pretty cool though:

I have a pair of these:

                              http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-S805-.../dp/B000JHKU72

They work great, but are a bit uncomfortable as the ear muffs are a bit small and make my ears hurt over time.
