Nice, sounds like my brother.

He's a foreman in New Mexico (building houses on a ski resort in Angel Fire/Taos) and has been doing construction since he was in highschool. Getting ready to buy the company he works for, then I may ship out there and work for him. I did it one summer when I was 15 and loved it.

I love it, I wake up build a bathroom one week and I am roofing the next. My job is ALWAYS new and fun. Just this late summer we built a 7,500 tree house that is 12' in the air with a MASSIVE staircase from ground up. It made my day every time those cute little kids got home off the bus to see how far it came that day.

So when people ask me what my job is I tell them plain and simple. I make people's dreams come true =)

I got four homemade cards from those little kids after their tree house was finished. I just feel bad that their father died 3 years ago. Must be rough seeing strangers do something their father was to do =(

But yeah, I got the reward of having two boys join me after 2pm to learn a trade. They ate it up, even loved caring the lumber and digging the holes. But we don't use hammers...so they did not get to touch the air guns lol
