We watch at least one episode a day. Ive been know to watch Bleach, Inuyasha, Gundam Wing, and Dragonball. I absolutely love Initial D and Midnight Wangan. we watched the first two or three episodes of Elven Lied but just never got my interest. Any you guys think I should watch? Im thinking about trying out Black Butler but I dont know much about It.
"Elfen Lied" is good, I actually own this one. I buy the ones I really like. That was the only way you could get anime before. I still have a few vhs anime. Now thanks to torrents and some streaming websites it saves me a lot of money.

"Kuroshitsuji"(Black Butler)is pretty good. There is a lot of pretty boy action and the interactions between Ciel and Sebastion can be some what disturbing but the overall plot is actually really good. I enjoyed the anime.

Most of the anime you listed is mainstream anime(I notice "Naruto/Shippuuden" and One Piece is not on your list"). Most mainstream anime is really good but there are a lot of really good anime that are not marketed as well as those and are really good.

As for recommendations, there are a lot of them listed on this thread. You wrote you didn't read the whole thing. I would check out some of them listed on here, read a synopsis of it on a site like animenewsnetwork.com and see if it looks like something you would be interested in.

My taste in anime is very eclectic. I can usually find something that I like in every anime I have seen. There are very few anime I did not like at all. But for us to recommend something for you out side of our personal preferences/favorites we would need to know the type of stories you like. And there is the whole dub/sub, not every anime has English audio yet.

Welcome to R3v and the anime thread.

I loved Elfen Lied, watched it all in one day the other day. It was just a rollercoaster of emotions. I'm trying to cover all of the good animes that have been posted in this thread early on.

Fairytale is really good, elven lied gets better after a few eps. I feel that black buttler is a litte too slow for me.

It's only a problem if your life revolves around it. Nothing is wrong with indulgence as long as it is in moderation. I typically watch an hour of anime a day on work days.

The only one on that list I have seen is "Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai", it wasn't bad. It was rushed I think and it could have been a lot better. "Madan no ou to Vanadis" is on my to watch list. "M3: Sono Kuroki Hagane" did not seem appealing to me. And I have not heard of any of the others. I did a quick search and "Grisaia no Kajitsu" looks similar to a more mature version of "Full Metal Panic". I will look into them more. I am assuming the other series are not finished yet because I usually don't check out a new series until it is finished, nearly completed or if it is a really long series(anything over 50 episodes).

I warned you. But it gets better. Then it gets weird. Probably one of the most unique anime I have ever seen. But I don't ever recommend it to anyone unless they are looking for something like it. Things make more sense as the show progresses and then things make no sense. I did my best to describe and warn anyone interested in watching this anime.
