If "Tokyo Ghoul Root A" is the last adaptation of the rest of the "Tokyo Ghoul" manga then be prepared. I haven't watched "Root A" yet, I am waiting for it to finish. But the manga was good and the ending was... hard to put into words. It left me staring at the last page saying "really, that is the end?" There is so much more that they left out, so much more story potential. Thank goodness that a sequel manga came out soon after. I think it is based 5 or 10 years after the original manga.

"Another" has a new novel coming out, so maybe in a year or so after the novel, we will get another season of "Another".

I do like all this development going on and all the back story with the twins, Eto, Akira's Mom, the owl and so on and the seriousness. But the encounters that happened just didn't do it for me. I'm no creator/animator but comparing what I saw in the first season to Root A there's no competition. I feel like they rushed a lot of stuff in Root A especially the fighting sequences. Like TF happened to the dude in the prison that started wrecking Kaneki... Now with the stuff going on with the Owl in the most recent episode they could have made him more badass but nope he's just gonna stand there and shoot shards at everyone. Recently I felt like every episode of Root A ended on the biggest cliff hanger and the next episode just never delivered. Thats how I feel about Root A don't hate it, don't love it either.
Totally know what you mean. I haven't read the manga but I know some fucked up shit must have happened during that part. IDK if they showed it right then and there or touched back on it in the future chapters. Kaneki doesn't get much screen time either which does kind of bug me. I do hope the anime doesn't end without any sort of elaboration on all the gaps in the story. The show has so much potential, especially since it doesn't follow the manga. They could easily add to the story and make it better.

    Tokyo Ghoul = Amazing
Tokyo Ghoul Root A = Shit

So much disappoint, it's like they blew their budget on the first season and was just like ehh when it came to Root A. Even the intro sucks. It doesn't have the same spirit it as the first season. Literally like 8 episodes in I haven't seen a decent fight, zero meaningful dialogue and the animation just seems shoddy at best.

If you like mystery anime but not quite as dark, my favorite would be "Hyouka".

I thought the story was about Kaneki Ken. NOPE this dude is MIA 80% of the time. And when he is on screen this dude is hella edgy, starts yelling or crying and then he's gone.

Samurai Champloo is what started my anime addiction. The music, story, characters, everything was just perfect.

Also, Tokyo Ghoul is fucking awesome, probably my favorite show right now.

This story is mainly how Naruto and Hinata get together. I enjoyed it because it was a canon story that takes place two years after the ninja war. And you see how much most of the characters have grown. Ex. Naruto can make a rasengan and rasen-shuriken with one hand. I really enjoyed the "Naruto" series and this is just more of the story. But it is more drama than action. This is the best "Naruto" movie in my opinion.

I have been really wanting to see this new Naruto movie. There have been a few Spanish translated cam rips, but I don't know Spanish and it wasn't the complete movie.

A pretty decent cam rip came out with English subtitles, I am assuming from Australia. The first five minutes the video camera is aimed to high so you won't be able to read the subtitles. With my broken Japanese I was able to follow but if you want the first five minutes there is a video on youtube of the first five minutes translated. I saw it a couple of weeks ago.

The video moves a little bit and there are a couple of times where you can't read the subtitles(a max of another five minutes). This is the best copy I have found so far.

There is a copy in "Kickass.so" but that copy is this one that has been modified by someone and you can't read the subtitles through most of it because it is zoomed too much.

I really enjoyed the movie and if I can, I plan on seeing it in theatres in Pittsburg PA at the end of next month. And I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD.

Similar setting. It starts off pretty ridiculous (even the intro credits are a huge joke), but half way through the show it starts to be more serious (and they ditch the Tim & Eric style intro). Lots of crude humor throughout, and some fun action, in a post-apocalyptic western setting.
