How fast can you type?

I was wondering how fast I can type so I did the typing test on this site. I did the duration at 1 min and did the Fishing in Finland test.

Post up your "net speed" which is corrected for typos.

My best speed was 91wpm.

That would be nuts, I'd love to see that. My average score is in the mid to upper 80's, but I've gotten over 90 a few times.

My net speed was 79wpm, under those same conditions.

I never really learned the proper ways of typing, so i only use like 4 fingers haha

Ugh... I hate typing tests. I can type ~75 WPM if I am the one thinking of what I am typing, but if I have to read something, I drop to like 40. MY problem is that I have to look a the keyboard 70% of the time. But I am getting much better. I find myself typing less and less without looking at the keyboard. I also try to not look as much as possible, but it is like trying to stop smoking. lol

also, the writing in those tests is awful, nobody would use that many commas and strange words in the real world. Oddly enough I didn't screw up "eutrophication" in the Finland test..

Eh. There's a couple more semi colons and odd words than I usually see, but the letters I draft for the school aren't that far off from a writing test I would say.
