Someone PLEASE explain this to me. X3 content

I am looking through cars on dealers sites, and I saw this car in person. I looked inside and saw 6speed...wtf, since when were x3's 6speeds. I don't know anything about X3's so I called a buddy and he said it was probably semi auto..but as I am talking to him I see the clutch on the floor. Website says auto, pictures say 6speed. Explain this to me..

            This.

I'd prefer an X3 manual over an X5 manual. The X3's feel so much better. The weight of the X5 with the 3.0...no good.

I don't have any complaints about my '03 X5 with the 3.0i. It's faster than my '89 ix by a long shot.
