    nice job wrapping it..

you did the right thing washing it out, tap water works just as well as sterile saline/water to prevent infection, the most important thing is water pressure so it reaches back into the recesses of the wound.

doesn't look too bad though, not stitch-worthy. Watch that middle piece with cuts around it to make sure it has blood flow; it looks like it should heal but if the tissue dies you should get it checked out.

in the ER we would do basically exactly what you did: irrigate w/ water, rinse a little with hibaclens (gentle antiseptic), check for sensation (can you feel the tip of your finger?) check for movement (can you move the distal joint?), wrap it w/ sufficient pressure to keep the wound closed but not tight enough to cut off circulation, give you a tetanus shot and discharge home. if you've had a tetanus booster within 5 years you're good..

Yeah washed the cut out with warm water and let it bleed in the sink for a bit. Just trying to get it to scab over today.

One handed m20 swap. I think it will be healed enough that I can work around it. Justin B finished his white caged e30 with a broken hand and a badly sprained ankle. Ill manage.
