        If this had happend at my home, The maintenance guy and his pal would have been starring at the business end of a large bore Revolver or Pistol, while being ORDERED........NOT ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY, by a very pissed off woman. The little woman dose not take shit like that lightly and has to take care of her self more than I would like since I am not home much.

        As to your situation. That appt. IS YOUR HOME period. You need to hound whom ever you have signed your lease with and tell them that actions like that will NOT BE TOLERATED and are UNACCEPTABLE. Inform them they WILL NOT, be coming into your home until you have left and found a new place to live under any circumstances... Until they provided PROOF that a notice was left you will be considering legal action.

          Thank you, I would love to have a dog, but since i work a lot I just dont feel i have the time to give to a young pup. I guess now that i'm 21 I should pick up a gun. Fuck fella's so not cool. I'm raging right now. I just went and applied to another apt. I talked to the Lady in charge and she said thats procedure and wouldn't admit a notice hadn't been posted. She is 100% ok with it and so i called the real estate place that owns all of the apartments and nobody will be around until at least monday because they are all on vacation.

            Also out of curiosity anyone have a house or something they are renting out? 1-2 bedroom? I was planning on renewing my lease here ( i even grabbed an application yesterday) but not any longer.

                    Not sure about the laws in your state, but here, even when renting, your home is your home. NO ONE is allowed inside without your consent. Even if they post a note, or own the property.

                    One step in my place, especially after I've told you you can't come in, and you're tasting 00 buck.

                        He gave a 30 day notice he said, he can do whatever he wants to make his woman happy. likely won't get his deposit back if he does so, but at least he will still have access to getting some from the woman if he does a manly thing like making her feel safe for the next 9 days.

                          In georgia no notice needs to be given.
                          And I wouldn't get too trigger happy. In LV they can give you 24 hours, then enter. They will, knock first. But if you are in the shower and do not hear them, they have every right to enter.
                          State rules on the amount of notice landlords must give before they enter and how landlords may enter tenant rental units.

                          OP did neighbors recieve notices? Regarding these notices, were you to sign them, then turn them in? Was this what was supposed to happen?

                            First off, pics of gf getting out of shower to determine if he had a good reason to stand there. Second, acquire dog, doesn't have to be big or mean, nearly any dog will bark witch would be enough to keep someone from letting themselves in.

                              A 24 hr notice is required for my apt. The main manager told me she had one put on my door yesterday, and gave me a "copy". She also said she didn't know who put the notice on the door and had no clue which maintenance man/men it could have been. Also, I was the only one given a notice YESTERDAY because I'm moving out- But everyone else ( shortly after speaking to my manager) including myself received a notice that ALL of the apartments in my building would be getting a fire alarm inspection NEXT wednesday because they are also remodling all of the outsides of buildings.

                              My lease isn't up until the 31st so whats with the special treatment all of the sudden?

                                Not sure if I believe that.

                                I had a lawyer tell me that they must indeed leave a note before wanting to enter, but if you say no, they can't enter. Must always have your consent. They DO have a right to enter the home, but only at an agreed upon time.

                                The letter is so they can't just randomly show up. Its to protect you, not them.
