We just all have to face the fact that there are people who cant handle reality. It seems like a stupid statement, but there are people who dont think the same. Its part of what makes us human.
Not to offend anyone, but I think God always does things for a reason and events like this are meant to make us reassess ourselves and to not take life for granted.
Do what everyone is saying to do and just keep your head up bud. Im sure your friend would tell you to do the same.

Dude i'm really sorry for your loss. but don't come down on the guy that hard. when you are at the end of your rope, you feel like a failure because you lost your job, it hard to see the forest for all the trees standing in the way.
Only really in western culture is it not acceptable to take your own life when you feel that you have failed. In many eastern cultures it's perfectly acceptable practice.
I'm sure he was a great man, remember that and not last ditch mistake.

In many African tribles, the act of suicide is unheard of! They dont' even have a word in many of their languages to describe it.
Honestly, i think money has a lot to do with it and the way our culture has it ingrained into it's social framework. It's the basis of how we conduct ourselves and how/why we do many of the things we do (for money). Without it, we struggle to find meaning for many of the things we do.
