If I had $2k burning a hole in my pocket there are a couple different directions I could go.
That much cash would:
cover a few vintage race entry fees and at least one set of new race tires and brake pads
VAC Motorsports S14 rebuilt head and at least one cam.
A set of cams and a Miller MAF and WAR chip.
A set of either HED or ZIPP deep dish wheels for my roadbike, but then I might be able to score a set of Campy Bora2s if I pull some strings...
A new custom Ti hard tail frame
Go a little ways toward getting the body work on my '59 Alfa Sprint done. (It would be so nice to drive that car some day.)
Lots of options here.
Will'59 Alfa Romeo 101.02 Giulietta Sprint
'69 Alfa Romeo 105.51 1750 GTV (R.I.P)
'69 Datsun 2000 roadster Vintage race car
'88 BMW M3

Shop Johnston & Murphy for a premium selection of men's and women's shoes, apparel and accessories. Free shipping and free 365-day returns for J&M Insiders.
I got the McKINNON PENNY Tan/Dark brown.
Then I would suggest coilovers if you don't own a set of GC.
Ubergeek you spent 1600$ on pants and jacket... That's what my girlfriend would do with 2000$, I'm ashamed.Different strokes for different folks.
