Have you and your wife considered a home birth? My wife and I had a water birth right in our home. It was such an awesome event and definitely one of the greatest things I have ever done, bringing my son into this world with my own hands.

My kid just hit 7 months old. Having a kid is no where near as bad as your single friend make it out to be. Its actually a blast. If I had known how fun it was I would have had one sooner.

Congrats, sir. Like RobertK has mentioned, having a kid isn't that bad and your life isn't "over". Most of the people who are against having kids are the ones who still have yet to grow up.

I have a 4 month old little girl and every morning when I wake up, she has the biggest smile on her face when she sees me. It's absolutely a fantastic feeling.

Yes, you will have shit sleep the first few months, but watching your child grow will make it all worth it. Stack up on diapers!! they go through them QUICK.
