I'll go stomping illegals with you. I suffered a similar loss...only the guy wasn't drunk...he hit and killed a good friend and his 2 year old daughter...then fled back to Mexico.
I'm not racist, and don't hold MEXICANS responsible for what happened...but if you don't follow the rules, you have no rules to adhere to...which is why illegals are such a problem with me.
Had the DB that killed my friend and his daughter been legal...he wouldn't have been able to get away with murder...it has nothing to do with race...I will welcome you no matter what...as long as you have permission to be here. If not...fuck ya.
