The music I can recall the most from the 90s was the whole grunge rock scene....it basically served as the death-nail to all those big-hair glam-rock bands of the 80s (think Whitesnake, Poison, etc.). Damn....I'm showing my age here (blush). I also remember when MTV used to show hour after hour of videos with the occasional 'show'.
